Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce and ‘legal matters’ at a standstill due to pandemic four years after nasty split – The Sun

ANGELINA Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce has hit a snag as the pandemic has forced them to put a pause on "legal matters" four years after their separation.

According to Us Weekly, the famous former couple will have to delay the finalization of their divorce some more while the courts attempt to work through the coronavirus issues impacting them.

The source explained: “Brad is seeing the kids but everything involved in their process of resolving legal matters between Angelina and Brad, including the courts, is slowed down because of COVID.

“With the pandemic, it has been hard for everyone, including them. The legal process is slowed because of that.

"They are continuing regular visits but there has not been a lot of progress in terms of resolving anything.”

Even through the pandemic, the Hollywood A-listers have set up times to meet, as Brad, 56, has been seen visiting his kids.

The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor was seen leaving his ex's house on a motorcycle on July 2.

The visit came after Angelina, 45, spoke out about their divorce in a rare interview, explaining she made the decision to file for the "wellbeing of my family."

She told British Vogue: "Some have taken advantage of my silence, and the children see lies about themselves in the media, but I remind them that they know their own truth and their own minds.

"In fact, they are six very brave, very strong young people."

The duo, who tied the knot in 2014, share six kids: Maddox, 18, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and Vivienne and Knox, 11.

While the ex-couple have still not finalized their divorce ever since Angelina filed in 2016, the two have been co-parenting their children "amicably" thanks to "family therapy."

A source told People: "They definitely needed help figuring out all the child-custody issues and how Brad could be a dad again.

"Since the kids are older now, they are no longer dealing with separation issues from Angie."

The insider added: "It’s taken them a long time, with a lot of family therapy, to get to this point.

"The younger kids go back and forth between their houses, and Brad loves spending as much time with them as possible. He seems much happier."
