Billie Faiers' drunk stepdad kicked off Maldives flight as wedding party 'hurl abuse on plane, steal wine off air stewards' trolley and horrify passengers with foul language'

The Sun Online can exclusively reveal passengers were left horrified by foul language and shouting during the 13-hour journey from hell.

The group flying out were some of 95 guests all heading to see Billie get hitched to fiance Greg Shepherd.

But the flight was delayed for an hour as boozed-up Dave Chatwood was escorted off the plane for being "too drunk".

"It was horrendous", a source on the flight told us.

"Far from showing any remorse about the delay, they exhibited the worst ever qualities of ‘Englishman abroad’.

"The men in the group wearing matching hoodies, 'manbags' and leisure trousers with loud voices and bad language.

"They were blocking aisles by standing up and walking round the plane.

"They kept hugging the air stewards as if to make up for their behaviour, grabbing extra wine from the trolley when it passed and were walking up and down the aisles, swigging it from the bottle.

"They colonised a spacious corner like the snug of a pub, shouted, had loud conversations with no regard for anyone else and one of them even hurled abuse at a woman."

The Sun Online exclusively revealed yesterday that Billie's wedding was almost left in jeopardy as her stepdad was told he wasn't allowed to fly.

The whole family had gathered at Gatwick Airport on Thursday night to fly to the Maldives for Billie's beach wedding to Greg Shepherd.

But their carefully laid plans soon came unstuck when Dave was told he couldn't board after apparently enjoying one too many drinks before trying to board the flight.

Our source added: " The stepfather was wasted and couldn’t even stand up. The family put pressure on the stewards saying he’d taken a sleeping tablet, which was the cause of his inability to stand or speak.

"Thankfully the pilot saw straight through that and got him ejected. He caused the flight to be delayed by an hour, passengers were fuming.

"We might have forgiven the travelling party for this if they weren’t such a nightmare long after ‘Dave’ had been escorted off the plane."

Billie's best mate Ferne McCann was seen consoling Dave as he feared he had ruined the star's big day moments before being thrown off.

Our source fumed: "I was absolutely shocked and incensed and embarrassed by having to put up with this behaviour. The men of the clan were a disgrace.

"If I were Billie Faiers I’d send them all home. Including stepdad Dave.

"They ruined the first day of my holiday and same goes for many others, I’m sure. I will always think of Towie and everything it stands for with absolute disgust."

The Sun Online has reached out to Billie's rep.
