Big Brother contestant Kay Lovelle has left the house, it has been confirmed.
The Channel 5 show said in a statement: “Kay decided to leave the Big Brother house in the early hours of this morning. The other housemates are aware.”
Kay’s departure will be shown on tonight’s (October 2) episode.
The contestant has spoken in recent days about quitting the show, admitting to fears that she would be “eaten alive”.
“I’m struggling again,” she said in the Diary Room over the weekend. “I just think sometimes I’m in the wrong place and I don’t want to be misunderstood by the public.”
“I just really feel that I’m going to be eaten alive,” Kay continued. “I don’t want to put myself through that because I will just be running for the fire exits.

“I just feel so trapped. It’s like, what’s that saying? You’ve made your bed, now lie in it,” she added, admitting that she was looking for “a way to get out” but that she “can’t get out”.
However, this wasn’t the first time Kay had threatened to walk, especially after being isolated over her friendship with Lewis G amid his behaviour towards others.
The contestant was due to face the public vote on Friday evening, alongside Akeem, Isaac, Brooke and Kenaley.
Big Brother continues tonight (October 2) at 10.15pm on Channel 5.
