Big Brother: Farida questions Hallie on trans relationships
Big Brother returned to screens on Sunday night after a five-year hiatus and one of the show’s contestants found themselves getting into a heated argument on a completely different reality show over a decade ago.
Farida is just one of the latest batch of housemates to take part in the rebooted series.
But this isn’t her first foray into the world of reality TV. She previously tried her luck on the popular daytime competition Come Dine With Me back in 2009.
After attempting to impress her dinner party guests with authentic Indian cuisine, her night didn’t exactly go to plan in terms of the scores that she was awarded.
One guest, Michael, gave Farida’s evening a 7 out of 10 after admitting that the dinner lacked the “wow factor” for him.

In addition to this, he also complained about “the lack of alcohol” for him and his fellow guests.
The tensions rose between the pair as the week progressed.
The following episode saw Farida and Michael have a heated exchange as they stood in a child’s bedroom. After Farida voiced her opinion on something, Michael was quick to counter by proclaiming, “How many kids have you had? You say what my sister, you’ve never had a kid in your life.”
The pair then speak over one another while another of their fellow guests seemingly ignored the heated exchange.

Come Dine With Me isn’t the only reality show that Farida has appeared on over the years. Some eagle-eyed viewers also spotted Farida on another TV show just days before entering the Big Brother house.
She competed on BBC’s Blankety Blank as a contestant on the very same episode as former Big Brother hosts Rylan Clark and Emma Willis, as she attempted to match her answers to as many of the celebrities as possible.
While Farida didn’t take home any prizes on Blankety Blank, her fellow Big Brother housemate Kerry won an impressive £35,000 back in 2007 when she appeared on Deal Or No Deal.
The reality show regular has found herself at the centre of quite a few arguments in the Big Brother house since her arrival as well.
Farida has had an ongoing feud with Kerry over the days and also ruffled feathers after asking a series of “frustrating” questions to Hallie, who is a trans woman.
Viewers will need to tune in to see what happens next as the drama ramps up a notch with the first eviction taking place on Friday night.
Big Brother continues weeknights on ITV2 from 9pm.
