Big Brother viewers mock one housemate for hilarious reason

Big Brother has been no stranger to controversy over the years from the infamous fight night to Kim Woodburn’s rampage through the house, but the show has just encountered perhaps its most shocking scenes as one housemate has used actual mayonnaise on their roast dinner.

Cian Carrigan outraged viewers after splurging some creamy, eggy mayonnaise all over his beef roast dinner, which must make for an, erm, interesting combination.

The Irishman was also slammed by some viewers for starting his meal before everyone else – maybe he was super-hungry. We get that. But the mayonnaise is unforgivable.

This final series of Big Brother has been blighted by more issues beyond mayo-gate, as Lewis Flanagan was removed from the house for “unacceptable language that contravenes the rules” and Brooke Berry threatened to leave after Tomasz Wania was evicted.

Speaking in the Diary Room, she said: “I didn’t know it was going to be like this. I didn’t know you were going to give letters to half of the house… and make the people who didn’t get letters read them. How could that not psychologically f**k with any of us?”

It was confirmed that Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother will leave Channel 5 after the current series back in September.

Production Company Endemol Shine said in a statement: “Whilst disappointed not to reach an agreement with Channel 5, the decision opens up a new chapter and we are excited about future possibilities for Big Brother in the UK.”

Meanwhile, we’ve compiled all of the various Big Brother winners and where they ended up, as well as the biggest scandals that ever rocked Celebrity Big Brother.

Big Brother airs all of the fallout on Tuesday (October 30) at the later time of 10.15pm on Channel 5, followed by Bit on the Side at 11.15pm.
