Big Brother star Kenaley Amos-Sissons feels "so grateful" to be a part of housemate Cameron coming out

Big Brother star Kenaley Amos-Sissons has exclusively told Digital Spy what it was like to be in the room when housemate Cameron shed tears coming out as gay earlier in the week.

Viewers have watched as the 18-year-old blogger first opened up to friend Lewis F, before sharing his truth with the entire house in hugely powerful scenes. If you missed the episode, it’s definitely worth a watch below:

Chatting with us following her eviction on Friday night (October 12), Kenaley shared that she is “so grateful” to have been a part of one of the year’s most TV heartwarming moments.

“The fact that he felt like he had to share that with us, and I was one of the people, I was so grateful,” she explained. “I feel like he’s so brave, and his family will be so proud of him to actually come out and share that on TV and with us. It’s amazing.

“The fact that he felt like he had to tell us that, and I was there, I just feel so happy that I was a part of that experience and there for that growth for him.”

Kenaley went on: “I feel like he should be so proud of himself and now he’s just going to start his best life, and his true self. I feel like that was so admirable to watch and see the way he was so scared, and he just let go! It just made me so happy.”

Big Brother continues on Sunday night (October 14) at 10pm on Channel 5 with all of the fallout from Friday night’s eviction as well as the massive twist announced at the end of the show.
