Layton Williams has broken his silence after missing out on the Glitterball trophy at the Strictly Come Dancing final on Saturday, 16 December.
The West End star, 29, returned to Instagram on Sunday, 17 December following the Strictly grand final and boozy afterparty. Layton, who competed with Nikita Kuzmin on the BBC One show, reposted a video from a fan to his Stories.
The Strictly fan had shared their devastation over Layton not winning the show. They penned: "A lot of heart break in our house today over the @bbcstrictly result. @lautonwilliams @nikita_kuzmin thank you from the bottom of our hearts for showing him that being fully, fabulously, unapologetically himself is to be celebrated."
Layton posted a heart and teary-eyed emoji in response, before following up with a photo of himself enjoying a bubble bath with the caption: "Aaaaannnd… Relax."
Layton and Nikita, 25, competed against Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola as well as Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell in the Strictly final, with Ellie, 22, and Vito, 31, coming out on top after securing the most public votes.
Ellie and Vito's three dances saw them awarded a combined score of 115 out of a possible 120. The pair were actually at the bottom of the leaderboard in the final, with Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell having scored 117 while Layton and Nikita scored 119.
Layton had an impressive run on the BBC One show, having scored several perfect scores and continued to stun with his dance skills. Judge Craig Revel Horwood even branded his Charleston the "best" the show has ever seen at the semi-final.
Layton's return to social media comes after Dianne Buswell shared a message to dance partner Bobby, 20, and Strictly fans after losing out on the Glitterball.
Dianne, 34, shared a photo of her and Bobby hugging at the final and penned: "i used to be so obsessed with winning a sparkly trophy constantly thinking about that moment and what it would feel like ! but what i have realised dancing with this wonderful human is that the win and the sparkle is everywhere if you want it to be. last night bobby and i danced with so much joy passion and emotion that my heart was bursting with happiness and pride and there was our win !
"bobbys only competition in this show was himself he wanted to become a better dancer and a better professional and to help him achieve both those goals makes me a proud teacher."
She continued: "i am so grateful that i was the lucky one to be partnered with bobs and i am so excited for his bright future ahead he is not just a real talent but a really lovely soul . thanks for making me enjoy my dancing like i was a little girl again no fear no anxiety just love and passion for what i am able to do."
Dianne signed off her message by congratulating Ellie and Vito on their win, before also congratulating Layton and Nikita on their incredible performances.
