BBC Strictly’s Bobby Brazier reduced to tears by sweet message of support from brother

With just hours left to go until Strictly Come Dancing ’s exciting grand final crowns this year’s glitter ball champion, EastEnders star Bobby Brazier couldn’t hide his emotions as he he received a special message of support from his brother Freddie.

The 20 year old star appeared on the final edition of Strictly It Takes Two, alongside his partner Dianne Buswell on Friday night, when the duo were shown a slew of video messages from their nearest and dearest as they cheered the couple on ahead of the the live finale.

Among the messages were Bobby’s dad Jeff Brazier and brother Freddie, 19, who spoke about the couple’s emotional tribute to their late mum Jade Goody.

Bobby is the eldest son of reality TV star Jade Goody, who sadly passed away in 2009 at the age of just 27 after a short battle with cervical cancer, and the older brother of her other son, Freddie.

Speaking in the video, Freddie said: "It was very strong of him to dance to something that he knows would be tough for him, it was tough for me to be sat there to be honest!"

He added: "When I doubt myself, I look at what Bob's done, how well he's done, I think: 'Right, okay, I can do this too.' He inspires me a lot and I look up to him. “

Following the emotional admission, Bobby couldn’t help but fight back tears as he processed the deeply moving sentiment behind the message.

Painting on a smile, Bobby tearfully admitted: "Just to inspire my brother, is everything! To inspire my brother, what he just said, is the world! That is everything to me.”

He then continued: “Once, I was anxious about everything and scared of the world and to now be on Strictly, dancing in front of so many people, falling in love with expressing myself, to inspire my brother, maybe others, to step into that. What else is there to do!”

The emotional moment comes as Bobby recently opened up about the support of his family, including how having his dad and brother in the audience has really helped to cheer him on and keep him going throughout his Strictly journey.

Despite the clear show of family support, Bobby’s grandma Jackiey Budden has reportedly been banned from attending the live shows following her fractured relationship with Jeff in the years since her daughter Jade’s death.
