‘Bachelor’ Contestant Caelynn Miller-Keyes Calls Out Haters for Sending Her Death Threats

AceShowbiz -“The Bachelor” contestant Caelynn Miller-Keyes revealed she and her cast mates are getting death threats from strangers after their stint on the show. The runner-up at the Miss USA 2018 competition took to Instagram on Tuesday, March 5 to hit back at those haters who have been hurting her feelings.

“Looking at the trolls like…,” she opened her message, while posting her photo from the ABC dating series. “We live in a world where we never do anything right. Ever. Everyone always has an opinion. This experience has been so incredibly difficult. This show is super easy to make fun of, I get it, but viciously tearing people down is absolutely disgusting.”

“Girls on my season are getting death threats, I’m getting told to go kill myself,” she claimed. “That’s’ not okay. We are not perfect. We screw up (myself maybe more than others) but this show is partly about finding yourself, and that means falling in the process. You can have your opinions, but keep the extra hurtful comments to yourself.”

The blonde beauty went on advising Internet users to be wiser in voicing their opinions. “The internet can be very dark, and instead of feeding into it, try taking a step back,” she added. “We are real people. These emotions are real. You’re watching a tv show, but we felt all of these feelings in a very intense way. Remember that the next time you go to someone’s page to tear them down.”

Caelynn finished in the fourth place in “The Bachelor” season 23 after Colton Underwood sent her home following the hometown dates. She received widespread attention and praise for opening up on the show about becoming a victim of sexual assault when she was a college student.

Recently, Caelynn clarified speculation that she was vying to be the next Bachelorette. “Honestly, I don’t know if I’m interested in being The Bachelorette,” Miller-Keyes told The Hollywood Reporter after the “Women Tell All” taping. “This process has been hell for me. It’s been incredibly difficult and tonight brought up really raw emotions and reopened raw wounds for me, so I’m still trying to process that.”
