The 39-year-old and husband Robbie Williams welcomed daughter Colette last month via surrogate.
When quizzed about how she was coping, as well has having Theodora, five, and Charlton, three, during a pre-recorded interview on today’s show, she admitted it has been “kicking off”.
She said: “Well there is about six layers of foundation on my face and I did pass out this morning.
“It is kicking off, but in the most amazing way.”
Discussing their latest addition, Ayda continued: “We are over the moon, we are in a pink love bubble.
“I am so grateful. There were times when I thought I was going to lose and it wasn’t meant to be.”
She added: “I am grateful to the universe for Colette. I am looking forward to raising her.”
Ayda went on to discuss working with husband Robbie on the ITV singing show and getting the Overs as her category this year.
She said: "I didn’t know what it would be like being on X Factor with my husband. It’s surpassed everything I could have expected. I am going to work with a huge smile on my face.
"I am definitely the underdog in this competition and I love being with the other underdogs of this competition."
Revealing why she relates to her group, she said: "I still get told no. I totally, totally relate. I know what it is like to lose your confidence.
"I had this career and then I was working and then I met Rob and then I kind of went off and got married and had kids, and in that process, which was amazing and fantastic, I lost my confidence as an actress and as a working woman.
"I gave that up and then to have to revisit it years later starting from ground zero, it’s hard, it’s ‘who am I’, ‘ how do I do this?’. I don’t think Rob has ever auditioned for anything aside from Take That."
