Ashley Roberts' dancing experience won't guarantee win as audience has final say claims Anton du Beke

The professional dancer, who has been on the BBC ballroom series since 2004, appeared on today's Good Morning Britain when he discussed this year's final four contestants with Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway.

Presenter Ben was keen to discuss the Pussycat Dolls star's previous dance experience with Anton, 52, and asked his opinion.

Ben began: "One or two of the celebrities pros, that’s the suggestion Ashley is very good dancer, obviously she's got huge experience."

To which Anton answered: "She is a very, very accomplished dancer."

"Does that bother you at all Anton?" asked Ben.

Replying to his comments, Anton said: "Not entirely, not enormously no. It doesn't bother me, I didn't dance with her of course.

"She won't be experienced in the Ballroom or Latin dances, she'll be experienced in general dance.

Adding: "But then you've got the fifth judge, the audience at home to decide whom they want to go through, or make it to the final, or win."

This Saturday the four remaining couples will each perform three times during the glittering finale – a judges' pick dance, their own favourite routine from the series and a new showdance.

Stacey and Kevin’s foxtrot to Jeff Beck's Hi Ho Silver Lining, which saw them top the leaderboard with 33 points in week four, has been chosen as their judges' pick for the Grand Final.

The documentary filmmaker and her partner will do their showdance to Land Of A Thousand Dances by Wilson Pickett.

Their third choice will be revealed on the evening as they battle it out for the Glitterball Trophy.

Stacey is currently the favourite to win after Bookmaker Coral cut her odds on to 1-2 (from 4-7).

Joe Sugg (3-1) and Faye Tozer (8-1) are next in the betting, whilst Coral have Ashley Roberts as the 33-1 rank outsider to go all the way.
