Anna Duggar spotted SMILING with friends at party just weeks before husband Josh's child pornography sentencing

ANNA Duggar has been spotted smiling with her friends at a party that happened just weeks before her husband Josh's child pornography sentencing.

Her husband Josh, 34, was found guilty of possessing and receiving child pornography on December 9 after a nearly two-week trial.

In a photo that resurfaced on Reddit, Anna, 33, was seen smiling in a selfie she snapped alongside two other friends.

Anna appeared to be attending a formal event, as she styled her hair in curls and wore a pink satin dress.

Reddit users took to the comments section to discuss the image.

One fan posted: "Can you believe that Anna just goes to these events casually with her and everyone knowing that her husband is currently in jail for being a pedophile and everyone just acts like everything is normal?"

Josh requested to postpone the April 5 sentencing by 30 days while he remains behind bars in Washington County Jail in Arkansas.

The Sun exclusively revealed Judge Timothy L. Brooks approved the request and gave him an additional month, as his sentencing has been scheduled for May 25.

Court papers obtained by The Sun read: “Because of certain reasonable Covid-19 precautions understandably instituted at the jail at which Duggar is being detained, it has been more difficult scheduling meetings with Duggar than during more ordinary times.”

Josh’s legal team has had a delay in “scheduling certain attorney-client privileged meetings by videoconference with Duggar.”

The defense then explained they would “benefit from” a continuance to “provide additional time to pursue additional information and documentation.”

Josh’s legal team also has scheduling issues with unrelated cases, which would be resolved with a postponement.

The legal team insisted that the request is “not intended to unnecessarily delay or hinder the proceedings.”

Josh was found guilty on two counts of child pornography in Decemer 2021 after a nearly two-week trial.

'BIG RISK'

Meanwhile, Anna caused a stir among fans and left them in shock with an "inappropriate" Instagram comment.

Counting On fans rediscovered a comment that Anna had made on her-in-law Joe's joint Instagram page he shares with his wife Kendra.

In a photo from 2019, Joe and Kendra were celebrating Easter, also known as "Resurrection Day."

Joe and his wife are the parents of children Garrett, Addison, and Brooklyn.

Kendra's husband carried his infant in his arm.

While wearing his suit, his face appeared unshaven and had a bit of stubble.

They shared a passage from the Bible: "We are so thankful we serve a God that came to earth and lived a perfect and sinless life.

"He died the death that we deserved if we by faith trust Him as our Savior, we have the privilege of living with Him in Heaven."

Anna mentioned her brother-in-law's scruffiness and wrote in the comments: "I like that beard, Joe" along with with a beard emoji.

'DESPERATE'

Fans slammed Anna's statement, which they deemed "desperate" in the comments section.

One fan wrote: “'Risking it all!' Love this take!"

Another fan added: "Careful Kendra, Anna’s coming after your man!"
