All Creatures Great and Small fans ‘crying’ as beloved character announces exit

All Creatures: Mrs. Hall hands her notice in to Mr. Farnon

All Creatures Great and Small could see the exit of one of its beloved characters on Thursday night as the Channel 5 series comes to a close.

In a first-look clip of tonight’s instalment, Mrs. Hall (played by Anna Madeley) hands her notice into Siegfried Farnon (Samuel West).

Siegfried looks heartbroken after Mrs. Hall says she will work three months’ notice before she leaves.

“I need to talk to you about my position, Mr Farnon,” Mrs Hall emotionally said.

“Right,” the vet replied as Mrs Hall pulled out her resignation letter.

Mrs Hall told him: “I have tried to explain it the best I can in the letter.

“I don’t know how much notice period you need, I am not sure we ever discussed it.

“A month seems too little, would three months suffice?
