Abbie Quinnen bravely showed her scars from a freak fire during an appearance on Wednesday's Lorraine, as she discussed coming to terms with the physical reminders of the blaze.
With help from ITV, the dancer spent time with activist Katie Piper, who previously underwent pioneering surgery to restore her face and vision after she was the victim of an acid attack.
Katie introduced her to fellow burn survivors to help her accept her scars after Abi admitted she was struggling to feel confident in her body.
During a piece to camera with her boyfriend AJ Pritchard, Abbie said: "Some days I just sit inside and I cry all day."
Abbie showed her scars, which are across her chest, neck and shoulders, before the camera, explaining: "I have to moisturize four times a day.
"I basically have to do circular motions and keep all of my scars hydrated."
She added: "After I do that, I use my silicone sheets, and then I put my compression vest on which I wear for 23 hours a day."
Abbie suffered severe burns when filming a TikTok video hack with AJ six months ago, and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
The couple had been trying to cut a glass bottle in half using a flaming rope, intending to turn it into a vase in a "life hack" video.
Recalling the incident, Abbie said: "The fire lit up and it shot across the room."
To treat the wounds, Abbie has undergone three skin grafts and needs to wear a compression vest for two years to aid her recovery.
The trauma of the incident, and the scarring it has caused, have made the past few months a challenge for Abbie.

AJ admitted: "There are very bad days and there are very very low lows and it makes me feel very upset."
"I wasn't ready for the world to see me," Abbie said, ahead of her meeting with activist and writer Katie.
Katie took Abbie to a lido, where she met with women who also had scarring, learning the best ways to embrace the skin you live in.
At the end of the segment, Abbie wore a swimsuit by the pool, her scars exposed, as she took their heartfelt advice on board.
