Courtney Smith was left in floods of tears after seeing her ex Henry Simmons moving on with Leah Fletcher – but it seems there could be more to the story.
As the stars of the show prepared for Ladies Day at the town’s annual race meeting, Courtney admitted she was dreading running into Henry.
The couple had dated for three years and just five days after they split, Henry made a move on Leah.
When they turned up to the races, some of Courtney’s pals confronted Leah and told her she needed to know the “truth”.
After telling her she was going against the girl code by having a relationship with Henry, her best pal Amber then whispered to Leah: “He was calling her phone on Saturday night.”
She looked dumbfounded but replied: “That can’t be true because he was with me on Saturday night.”
Henry then realised Leah was with Courtney’s pals and went to pull her out of the situation.
She played it cool until they were out of earshot before giving him a mouthful.
Leah hissed: “Shut the f*** up and keep walking!”
Henry asked her: “Have I done something wrong?” leaving Leah shaking with rage.
She replied: “Have you done something wrong? Are you serious?
“Calling her phone on Saturday night!”
Henry denied he had called Courtney to Leah’s face, but when he was talking off camera he suggested he might have done.
Laughing he said: “Amber, I love her, but I hate her.”
Viewers admitted they were obsessed with the show and hailed it their new “guilty pleasure”.
One fan told their Twitter followers: “Ha! Ha! #AbsolutelyAscot Not quite #RoyalAscot @ITVBe Another guilty pleasure for Winter watching, maybe…”
A second tweeted: “#AbsolutelyAscot is actually pretty good but then again I am such a sucker for a reality show.”
While a third said: “#AbsolutelyAscot is banging, new fave.”
