A 'Veronica Mars' Revival Is Reportedly In The Works At Hulu, With Kristen Bell On Board

You might have to finally pony up for that Hulu subscription because the streaming service reportedly has an eight-episodeVeronica Mars revival series in the works.

The much-beloved show will return with original creator Rob Thomas and series star Kristen Bell both on board. The deal between Warner Bros. and Hulu has yet to be finalized, so details are limited. And don’t worry, this Veronica Mars revival won’t interfere with Bell’s other TV commitment, NBC’s The Good Place. Beyond Bell, it’s unknown which Veronica Mars alums will return for the revival series.

The original show followed burgeoning private investigator and high school student Veronica Mars, who worked cases alongside her detective dad. The series premiered in 2004 and ran for three seasons, airing first on UPN, and then on The CW.

And, unlike other recent revivals (*cough, cough* Designing Women), this revival doesn’t come completely out of left field. Following Thomas and Bell’s successful Kickstarter campaign in 2013, fans got a Veronica Mars movie in 2014.

Are you ready to see Veronica make her return to the small screen?
