'90 Day Fiancé': Did Colt Johnson Really Sell Larissa Lima's Wedding Dress?

Colt Johnson and Larissa Dos Santos Lima had, by all accounts, a tumultuous relationship on TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé. Colt drew criticism from fans for his extra-close relationship with his mother, Debbie Johnson, who still lives with him in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Colt called the police on Larissa, who hails from Brazil, three times for domestic violence during their short-lived marriage.

Since their breakup, the former 90 Day Fiancé couple has spoken out against each other several times. Larissa moved on to a new man, Eric Nichols (with whom she’s since broken up), while Colt reportedly dated a few new women of his own. Recently, it looks like Colt tried to let go of one last remaining tie to Larissa: her wedding dress.

Colt tried to sell his ‘famous’ ex’s wedding dress on Instagram

Colt has been capitalizing on his 90 Day Fiancé fame since the show aired. He and his mother Debbie appeared on a few episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk, and he regularly pulls in cash through personalized Cameos (video shoutouts) for fans.

Most recently, Colt even sold a piece of “memorabilia” from his doomed marriage to Larissa. Colt notoriously pushed Larissa to buy her wedding dress at Goodwill on 90 Day Fiancé, purchasing it for only $150. The reality star priced the dress at $500 on Fanbound, and it appears to have sold quickly to a fan.

Colt’s description of the wedding dress was nothing short of dramatic: “Own a piece of television memorabilia, the one and only famous wedding dress worn by my ex wife,” it read. “Finally, you can own a piece that is on par with [Dorothy’s] ruby slippers and Back to the Future DeLorean.”

’90 Day Fiancé’ fans had choice words for the reality star

90 Day Fiancé fans weren’t impressed with Colt’s decision to capitalize on his messy divorce from Larissa. Many thought his choice was selfish, especially given the fact that it was a thrift store buy to begin with.

Under a post about the sale from 90 Day Fiancé Leaks and Reality Gossips, one Twitter user wrote incredulously, “He got it at Goodwill!!”

Another 90 Day Fiancé fan agreed, writing on Twitter, “Real men don’t demean themselves by publicly gaining a few bucks & notoriety from the selling of his ex wife’s wedding dress.”

Larissa Lima recently made up with her post-Colt ex

For her part, Larissa seems to have very much moved on from her 90 Day Fiancé ex. She recently completed the domestic violence classes that were required of her as part of her plea deal. After the ordeal was over, the Brazil native said she wanted a “fresh start” and was inspired to raise awareness about domestic violence in the future.

Larissa and her ex, Eric Nichols, also recently made up after a messy breakup. The pair made public statements on Instagram about their reconciliation after their nasty fallout in the fall. Although they aren’t openly together, the 90 Day Fiancé star was reportedly spotted out with Nichols on what appeared to be a cozy night at the bar.
