A HOLIDAY is on everyone's bucket list this year after two years of lockdowns and Covid restrictions.
However, as families also tighten their belts, many are also looking at saving the pennies – so we've revealed some of the cheapest holiday destinations you can visit.
A new study by Wizz Air has looked at the common living costs per day which included daily rent, 6 bottles of water, four beers, a standard dinner and a taxi ride.
Paphos in Cyprus came out on top, costing less than €50 per person.
Hotspots Costa del Sol and Majorca in Spain made the top 10, along with spots in Greece and Portugal.
Along with the average flight prices, here are the top five cheapest destinations in Europe to book a holiday to this summer.

1. Paphos, Cyprus – €43.67
The cheapest on the list for holiday destinations is Paphos in Cyprus.
With average pints of beer costing €2.50, and water just 66 cents, you could dine out for just €20 each each as well.
There are bargain flights too, with flights from the UK less than £50 to the island.
2. Costa Del Sol, Spain – €62.15
One of the most popular holiday destinations with Brits, the Costa del Sol also has the cheapest pints, with average prices from just €1.75.
And while dinner is slightly more expensive – on average €21 per person – flights are much cheaper, with £26 return flights to Malaga from the UK.

3. Majorca, Spain – €64.30
You can stay in Spain if you want a bargain, with Majorca coming in as another cheap option.
Local beers are a bit pricer than the Costa del Sol at €2.50 on average, but dinner is cheaper at €19 euros while water is less than 50 cents.

4. Algarve, Portugal – €80.15 EUR
While almost double the average cost than Paphos, a trip to the Algarve is still a bargain for Brits.
Beer remains cheap, at €1.75 on average, and flights remain affordable, around £87 from the UK.

5. Santorini, Greece – €92
Just coming in at €100 for average holidays, the Greek island of Santorini can be affordable if you look at the right place.
Dinner away from the tourist spots €22.50, with return flights around £111 return from the UK – here are some cheap Greecce deals from £173pp.
