More than 100 UK flights cancelled today – here is the list of destinations affected

MORE than 100 flights have been cancelled today as Brits trying to go abroad are still begin affected by the travel chaos across the UK.

Many of the cancelled flights are due to staff shortages due to Covid or a reduction in schedules.

British Airways has had to cancel 96 flights today, including a number of domestic routes including Manchester, Newcastle, as well as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Belfast and Jersey.

A number of destinations across Europe have also been affected by the cancellations to and from London Heathrow, including:

Both the airlines have been forced to cancel thousands of flights between them in recent weeks as the travel industry suffers from a shortage in staff.

The CEO of Ryanair has warned that Brits should expect the travel chaos to continue for months.
