A FREQUENT flyer has revealed the three steps she always follows when travelling to keep both her belongings and herself safe.
This summer showed how easy it is for problems to arise at airports, with strikes and staff shortages leading to delays, cancellations and lost luggage.
However, lawyer Erika Kullberg's (@erikakullberg) tips ensures that, if she does run into problems, she's well prepared to deal with them.
In a video on Tiktok, she showed the three simple things she does every time she flies.
The first of her three tips is to take photos of your suitcase before you check it in.
This is to act as proof of the condition it was in before check-in in case it gets damaged by the airline, so she can get compensation.

She said: "If your bag is delayed, damaged or lost, the airline is responsible.
"I take take the picture as proof of what the bag looked like at check-in, just in case I need to claim money."

Iphone users can simply click on the number and track the flight, whereas other phone users can use various websites to see how the flight is getting on, and whether or not it will be delayed.
