MORE of Spain's Covid rules could be lifted this week – with a big change for Brits.
Unvaccinated Brits are currently unable to travel to Spain, but there is hope that this could change by the end of the week.
While it was hoped that this would be ditched in time for the May holidays, the government extended the Covid requirement until at least May 15, where it will be re-evaluated again.
The statement previously said: “This order will take effect from 12pm on July 22, 2020, until 12pm on May 15, 2022, without prejudice to its eventual modification to respond to a change in circumstances or new recommendations in the field of the European Union”.
However, this could be lifted by Sunday if they decide against extending it – meaning Brits won't have to have their jabs to visit the country.
The Spanish government is yet to confirm if the measures will be extended or scrapped.

Currently, only those aged between 12 and 17 who are unvaccinated can enter the country with just a Covid test.
The UK government website states: "Under the Spanish government’s current measures, you can only enter Spain from the UK for tourism purposes if you can show valid proof of meeting the vaccination requirements set out above or a medical certificate certifying that you have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months prior to travel."
All arrivals must fill in an online Health Control Form to enter Spain too.
It comes just weeks after the Spanish tourist board was forced to backtrack after claiming unvaxxed Brits would be able to return to the holiday destinations.

However, there are lots of new rules in place for Spain Brits will need to be aware of too.
Under new EU rules for the UK, since Brexit, food products including meat and dairy can no longer be taken into the country.
UK passports must also have at least three months left on the passport, with a number of holidaymakers being caught out and turned away at the airport.
Make sure you have your passport stamped too – one woman was banned from Spain due to an error that made it look like she had overstayed.

And Brits heading to some of Spain's party hotspots have also been warned they face fines up to £25,000 if caught attending illegal raves.
It follows a huge crackdown on boozy Brits which now means holidaymakers in Ibiza and Majorca are restricted to just six alcoholic drinks a day in their all-inclusive packages.
