From Disney movies to dogs, these 10 vacation rentals take themes to the extreme

Some travelers want nothing more from their accommodations than a place to lay their head each night. Others prefer a lodging option that’s a destination in its own right.

For the latter category, we’ve rounded up some of the most uniquely themed vacation rentals on the market. These aren’t your standard coastal-inspired beach houses or urban-industrial hotel rooms: Hosts and owners of the digs we’ve included here have gone to great lengths to fully deck out their property and carry a designated theme into every last detail, leaving nothing overlooked. There’s pineapple wallpaper, ’80s arcade games, Harry Potter bunk beds and more.

No matter what you’re into – from dogs to frogs to Disney to Wes Anderson – there’s a vacation rental out there with your name written all over it.
