Burger King is giving away free Whoppers for passengers on delayed flights this Christmas – The Sun

YOU could get a free Burger King Whopper if your flight is delayed this Christmas.

The fast food chain are giving away burgers to make travelling a bit easier during the festive season.

The offer includes a free Impossible Burger, their vegan alternative to the Whopper, usually costing $5.99 (£4.60).

It was first introduced to the chain in April, and has been met with rave reviews.

Any passenger who faces a delay from any airport across the US can get the free snack from any Burger King in the country, excluding airport chains.

With more than 47.5 million people flying across the US during Christmas and New Year, delays are to be expected.

Last year, more than 7,000 flights were delayed in one day due to the busier season.
