Another European country scraps Covid tests for Brits

FINLAND is the latest country to scrap its requirement for vaccinated Brits to show a negative Covid test on entry – making travel easier and cheaper.

From tomorrow, the European destination is ditching the need for vaccinated passengers to take a pre-departure PCR test in order to enter.

According to the Finnish Border Guard, Brits will be granted entry as long as they can prove they are fully vaccinated and at least seven days have passed since their last dose.

Alternatively, people who can prove they've had one dose of the vaccine and that they have recovered from Covid will also be allowed to enter Finland.

The change will save Brits from forking out for tests and make travel simpler.

Finland joins the growing list of countries Brits can enter without taking a single Covid test.

On Saturday, France dropped its pre-departure Covid test requirement for fully vaccinated Brits – just in time for half term.

The announcement was made in a tweet from Guillaume Bazard, the French consul-general in London.

From today, unvaccinated kids aged between 12 and 17 no longer need to have both jabs to enter the country.
