As the latest craze in gaming, Fornite has become incredibly popular via its free-to-play Battle Royale mode, which sees 100s of strangers go head to head in a gun battle until only one player or team is left standing.
However, there has been increase in the number of crashes since the maker of the game, Epic Games, released the latest v5.21 update yesterday.

What is Fortnite?
There are two versions of Fortnite – Save the World, and Battle Royale.
You can choose to play individually or as part of a team, with the aim of warding off enemy monsters, building forts, and ultimately, surviving.
Providing you don’t die, each game lasts around 20 minutes.
Why does it keep crashing?
Epic Games has confirmed that there is a bug that is causing the game to crash and that it is working on a solution.
"We’re aware of an increase in crashes in Battle Royale since the release of v5.21," said Epic Games in tweeted statement.
"We’ve identified the issue and are working towards a fix. We’ll update you once we have more information."
Following the update yesterday, another issue was reported with installation of the long-awaited Android version of the game, which was launched last week.
However, the games maker was able to issue a fix for the bug just over an hour after the fault was first reported.

Players should also keep checking for updates to ensure that have they most up-to-date version of the game available.
