Virgin Media has long been battling with Sky TV to get you to part with your pennies.
That’s why the company keeps trotting out various bundles that blend broadband with a TV service and SIM deals for phones.
In a bid to keep Sky at bay, Virgin has currently got a deal running on its ‘Oomph’ bundle that drops the price by £10 a month over the course of 12 months – netting you a saving of £120 in total.
That brings the price down to (a still pretty hefty) £89 per month for the package.
The Oomph bundle is a pretty good bet if you’re a heavy internet and TV user. You get M500 Fibre Broadband with an average download speed of 516MB which Virgin says is ‘faster on average than Sky and BT’s fastest widely available speeds.’
As well as that you get the full TV suite of over 270 channels including Sky Sports HD, BT Sport 4K and Sky Cinema HD. Then on top of that there’s also Virgin’s Talk More Anytime and Virgin’s Truly Unlimited SIM thrown in which features all you can eat data, calls and texts.
All that would normally run you £99 a month and there’s no telling how long the discount will be applied for. If you’re casting about for a great entertainment package at a good price, this deal is pretty tough to beat. If you’re still interested, you can find it here.
