Virgin Media broadband deal includes a free smart home gadget or money off your bill

Virgin Media is giving away a free Lenovo Smart Display or Lenovo Smart Clock with its broadband bundles. Both are superb smart devices in their own right and are worth £230 and £80, respectively. If you don’t fancy either of these free gifts – maybe your home is all-in on Alexa or Siri and the idea of a Google Assistant-powered bedside clock doesn’t excite you – the company will drop either £100 or £50 off your bill, depending on which bundle you were going to plump for.

As you’d expect, you’ll only get the bigger and pricier Lenovo Smart Display if you pick a costlier bundles that include Virgin Media fibre broadband, TV channels and a phone line.

The cheapest plan from Virgin Media that includes a free Lenovo Smart Display costs £49 per month and promises average download speeds of 213Mbps. This offering also requires customers to pay a £35 set up fee.

Dubbed The Bigger Bundle, this bundle also comes with over 220 TV channels, a phone line for use on weekends and the provider’s signature V6 Box.

As mentioned above, both the Lenovo Smart Display and Lenovo Smart Clock are excellent connected home devices. While the former comes with a larger display and is capable of streaming video, showcasing your Google Photos library and more, both come with the Google Assistant built in.
