Twitter has a secret Adidas emoji – here’s how you can find it

From smiley faces to aubergines, millions of emoji are used on Twitter every day.

Now, Twitter has joined forces with adidas to launch a new secret emoji.

The emoji has been launched to celebrate adidas’s Nite Jogger trainer, which is a modern interpretation of the iconic 1980s running shoes.

However, it can only be seen when you use Twitter’s Night Mode.

In a statement about the emoji, Twitter said: “Twitter has worked with adidas to create a #NITEJOGGER shoe emoji that is only visible on Night Mode, accentuating the shoes reflective qualities and playing into the name of the product.”

To access Night Mode, go to Settings, then Display and Sound. There, you can toggle Dark mode on or off, and choose whether you'd prefer Dim or Lights Out.

Then, to see the secret emoji, visit this tweet – the emoji is hidden in the text!

Twitter added: “This use of the custom emoji product forms an innovative part of Twitter’s advertising artillery. The campaign is set to to run over the next few months.”
