Sky down – Broadband not working as outage leaves cutomers without internet access.

Sky broadband customers are currently without internet access tonight.

The popular service hit troubles at around 8pm with thousands of complaints coming in from around the UK.

Down Detector, which monitors online outages, is showing areas including Birmingham, London, Nottingham, Liverpool, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds and Bristol all suffering from the problems.

However, it seems most of the problems a centred around north Wales and Liverpool.

There’s currently no word on what is causing the issues but users have taken to social media and forums to vent their frustrations.

Posting a message on Down Detector, one user said: “Down in north Wales since 1945.”

Whilst another added: “Sky down in Liverpool city centre. Been down for at least half hour.”

Along with mentions on forums there’s also plenty of action on Twitter with a flurry of users heading to the social media platform.

One Sky customer said: “Has anyone else’s Sky broadband gone down?”

Another added: “Well my Sky Broadband connection is down, and when I called support the queue was “over an hour”. Ho hum.”
