Sex robot virginity for sale at creepy new brothel – but it isn’t cheap

You can be the first person to have sex with a robot at Eve’s Robot Dreams, as long as you’re prepared to stump up the $10,000 asking price.

The crowdfunding campaign is seeking money to start what founder Unicole Unicron calls the world’s first "consent-focused robot brothel". But a robot’s virginity is one of the things that backers can opt to pay for.

However the founder also claims to be respecting robot rights and is keen to do so to avoid a "robot rebellion in the future". Presumably Unicole Unicron doesn’t think future generations of robots will be too bothered about flogging off robot virginities to the highest bidder.

The money will be used, according to the campaign, to create a healing space designed by artist Marina Fini. Staff will be paid a living wage and the startup is keen to work with authorities in LA County to create a safe and hygienic environment.

The robot staff are based on the Realdoll Harmony X but will have "modifications".

Guests will be able to spend time with their favourite robot in a private room but they’re also invited to build a relationship with their robo sex friend using a smartphone app.

The brothel is aimed at people who have wild fantasies and those who want to "take their relationship with technology deeper". Although sex robots are expensive, the site warns, so things can’t get too boisterous.

There’s also a plan to provide non-robotic sex dolls too, presumably for those who aren’t interested in forming a complex bond with a machine.

A non-robotic doll session costs $60, but sex with a robot is more pricey, at $122.

The campaign also claims that the brothel might be suitable for those who aren’t comfortable with human company. In the intro video Unicole Unicron claims it may have benefits for people with Autism.

Everyone will be expected to purchase their own "insert" which they must place in their choice of robot orifice. Both vaginal and anal are available, according to the campaign.
