Samsung’s Galaxy S20 arrived in stores last Friday with this flagship device offering numerous upgrades over its S10 predecessor. These latest devices, which include the S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra, arrive packing an improved 120Hz display, faster processor and much bigger batteries.
There’s also a refreshed camera system on the rear of the S20 with the most expensive Ultra model getting a quad-rear camera with a 100X Space Zoom.
Although these specs sound impressive, since these upgraded phones were unveiled back in February it appears that Samsung has been busy trying to improve them.
Early reviews were pretty mixed with some technology sites stating that the quad-snapper found on the Galaxy S20 Ultra simply wasn’t up to scratch.
In a bid to fix these flaws Samsung pushed out a camera upgrade before the S20 hit stores and another update last week improved stability and sorted a number of other bugs.

Now it seems another release is on its way and it could be something all S20 users should be on the lookout for.
According to one tech expert, Samsung is working on its next big software change and it could fix some serious issues.
Announcing the news on Twitter, Max Weinbach said: “I was just told these are the fixes in the next major S20 update:
• Overheating while Qi Charging
• Camera App freezing
• Battery Management
• Wifi Unstable
There’s no official word on when, or if, this upgrade will be actually be released but Weinbach has got these Samsung update rumours correct in the past – so watch this space.
It’s worth noting the latest S20 update, which was announced last week, also bundles in the March 2020 Android security patch that fixes a number of software vulnerabilities, one of which is deemed by Samsung to be “critical” in severity.
If you’ve picked up a Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ or Galaxy S20 Ultra in the last couple days, you should have received a prompt telling you to download the latest Samsung update.
If you haven’t, you can always obtain it manually by heading to Settings > Software update.
