An Irish broadband provider has launched a new app aimed at enabling small businesses to control every aspect of their business from a phone.
Magnet Networks said the integrated smart connected system – which it claimed to be the first to come to market here – would combine intelligent intrusion detection, video surveillance, access control and energy management in one mobile app.
Magnet has partnered with Cork-based Smartzone to bring the technology from global smart tech provider Alarm.com to the Irish commercial market.
“Smart Business by Magnet Networks gives owners a complete view of their business from their phone, and will provide massive cost savings and peace of mind,” said Magnet Networks managing director Ireland Stephen Brewer.
“As connectivity improves throughout Ireland, businesses are demanding more from their technology and are signing up to multiple cloud-based services.
“However, up to now there has not been a one-stop shop for smart – a single platform that will enable all aspects of business premises to be controlled remotely,” he added.
