Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S9 may be eclipsed TOMORROW as Samsung launches its very cheap rival

The Galaxy S8 and S9 are two of the best smartphones Samsung has ever made.

These devices which launched in 2017 (Galaxy S8) and 2018 (Galaxy S9) come packed with stunning displays, good cameras and fast performance.

With both now superseded by the Galaxy S10, there’s also some very big discounts to be grabbed with the S8 now available for as little as £379 and the S9 in stores for under £600.

However, despite these flagships looking hugely appealing, you might want to wait before buying one.

Samsung is holding a major event tomorrow in Milan where the Korean firm will lift the lid on its all-new Galaxy A70 smartphone.

This new device will arrive with a swathe of features that could make it one of the best mid-range phones you’ll see this year.

Although it won’t be officially revealed until tomorrow, Samsung has already announced full specs and price for the A70 and, on paper, it could be serious flagship killer.

This new phone will treat users to a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED edge-to-edge screen with a 20:9 display ratio.

Spin this device around and you’ll find a triple rear camera which will offer ultra wide shots and stunning depth of field with Samsung also boasting that it has included its clever Scene Optimiser which can recognise and intuitively enhance up to 20 scenes.

Tucked under the hood is a fast processor, giant 4,500mAh battery and 128GB of storage plus there’s the addition of an embedded fingerprint scanner under the screen.

Samsung says the A70 will be available in four distinctive colours including Coral, Blue, Black and White each will also get the prism effect that reveals gradient colours depending on light direction and reflections.

These features are all pretty good but perhaps the best part about this phone is its price with Samsung revealing it will cost just £369.
