Galaxy S20 is here and it’s not the only new phone to excite Samsung fans

Samsung has just announced its new range of shiny new smartphones and they look flippin' brilliant.

The most exciting of the bunch, revealed during the firm's Unpacked event in San Francisco, has to be the new Galaxy Z Flip.

This bendy phone looks almost identical to the iconic Motorola Razr with its clamshell design offering a giant 6.7-inch screen which can be folded in half making it easier to fit in your pocket.

There's also a small screen on the front so you can quickly check your calls and chats without having to flip open the case.

There's also a dual-camera for your Instagram posts and a selfie snapper for those pouting pics of your face.

The Galaxy Z Flip will be available soon in colours including black and purple with pricing expected in the coming weeks.

It wasn't just about folding phones at Samsung's event with this radical device also joined by a number of other smartphones.

Here's everything else that is new, including a gallery with an up close look at the new S20.

Galaxy S20: Up close with Samsung's new flagship smartphone

SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 • OUT IN MARCH

There's a new Galaxy flagship in town with the S20 now replacing the current S10.

This latest device gets a 6.2-inch screen which now pushes even closer to the edge for a more immersive experience and Samsung's faster 120Hz display means scrolling through your Facebook feed will feel silky smooth.

You also find a better processor, bigger battery, faster charging and an embedded fingerprint scanner which is hidden under the screen.

Along with the S20 there's also a bigger S20+ arriving next month which gets a 6.7-inch screen and four rear cameras.

Galaxy Buds+

Samsung is taking on the Apple's AirPods with a big update to its Galaxy Buds headphones.

The new Buds+ not only offer a wire-free connection to your music player but now last for a 11 hours on one charge – that's double what the AirPods can muster.

To keep the party going even longer there's a clever charging case for an instant battery boost.

These new headphones clearly have plenty of power but, unlike the new AirPods Pro, there's no noise cancellation which is a shame.

The Galaxy Buds+ will be on sale soon and if you buy an S20 you'll get them for free.
