  • It may still be two weeks away, but for many retailers, Black Friday is already upon us.

This week Currys has launched a new range of early Black Friday deals on some amazing home gadgets, but one stands out in particular for the sheer size of the discount.

Even though it usually costs £4,299, the UK retailer is selling Samsung's huge 85-inch 'The Frame' TV for just £2,599.

That's a price reduction of £1700 on an incredibly high-tech bit of kit which has won awards for its 'painting' style design. You can get the deal here.

As the name suggests, 'The Frame' is surrounded by a customisable picture frame instead of a normal TV frame.

The idea is that when the TV is off, it can transform into a 'work of art' with incredibly high-res paintings and images beamed onto it.

These are able to achieve the look and feel of real artworks thanks to the TV's QLED 4K technology. The Currys deal even comes with a free Samsung B450 soundbar and can be paid off over three years.

The TV is fitted to provide the best possible next-gen graphics on consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X, with HDR10+ and a lightning fast 120Hz refresh rate.

Of course, not everyone is going to be able to fork out for such a pricey bit of kit even with the discount.

If you're looking for something that's much cheaper but delivers similar performance, Currys also has a Black Friday deal on the 65" HISENSE 4K TV, which includes Alexa and Google Assistant. It's £799 down from £1,199, saving you more than £400 in total.
