Check Out The App That Reveals Your Apple Music Listening Habits From 2018

You can relive your music listening habits of 2018 with this new app.

2018 is over and our social media feeds are full of “year in review collages” and new year resolutions. For music lovers, looking back at 365 days’ worth of listening habits seems like a fantasy, but now, one little app has come along to save the day. While Apple Music doesn’t offer a way to look at what you’ve been listening to for the last year, Music Year in Review does. Spotify has a similar version called “Wrapped” which provides listeners with a more in-depth look at what’s been pumping through their headphones, but up until now, Apple Music listeners have been left wanting.

According to The Verge, Music Year in Review gives users the ability to look back at some metrics that might be basic, but are incredibly fun to look at. All you have to do is download the app, enter your email address and then connect it to Apple Music. The app will then gather your listening data and present you with three different graphics – how much time you’ve spent listening to certain artists, your top five songs and some of your blanket faves such as genres and artists.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a year in review if you weren’t able to plaster it all over your social media pages, so the app comes with a built-in button that allows you to do just that. Until Apple come up with their very own version, it’s a simplistic but enjoyable way to look back on your favorite tunes. The app is free, can be easily downloaded from the Apple App Store and while there are a few mixed reviews, largely works just fine.

What are you waiting for? Go check out what you’ve been bopping to for the last year – if you’re anything like us, you might be surprised at what makes your favorite list (and a little too embarrassed to publicly share).
