As the race to build the best smartphone camera intensifies, it's getting harder and harder for tech companies to differentiate themselves.
Recent iterations of the iPhone, such as the latest iPhone 13 Pro Max, have been marketed almost exclusively on how good their cameras are for shooting videos, long-range pictures, or taking colourful photos for Instagram.
Some phone brands have even begun pushing their night photography street cred by adding an array of low-light lenses that can take amazing snaps even on a dark night.
Although it's not the most well-known brand, Chinese phone company OPPO's latest flagship smartphone gives iPhone and Samsung devices a run for their money when it comes to taking photos of the night sky.
The Oppo Find X5 Pro is the first camera to use a Hasselblad lens. While this might not mean anything to non-photography nerds, it's actually a pretty big deal.
Hasselblad cameras were used by NASA's Apollo missions when humans first landed on the Moon, and are responsible for some of the jaw-dropping photographs returned to Earth by astronauts.
The phone has three high-res camera Hasselblad lenses on the back capable of ultra-wide, long distance or macro (close-up) photography. It can also capture video in 4K or 8K.
The camera app even includes a 'Pro' mode and an AI processing chip to help you capture photos at night, so if you need to snap a picture of a UFO quickly, it should do the trick.

When we tried out the phone's camera we were able to capture images that were difficult to see with the naked eye, but the phone picked up an astonishing level of detail, even of the stars in the sky.
The 5G-ready phone is a great fit for budding photographers and it runs very quickly and smoothly, but at £1,049 it is a little on the steep side.
It's got a decent full-day battery and a great screen, but the build quality could be better as the ceramic frame of the phone is quite slippery. It's definitely worth buying a case for it.
So, if you've got the money and want to catch some great photos of the night sky, the OPPO Find X5 Pro is a strong Android alternative to the top-of-the-range iPhones.
However, if photography isn't your bag, you might find cheaper alternatives that suit your needs.
