All Prime fans urged to check their accounts – Amazon reveals important update

Now is a good time to make sure your Prime account is in order with Amazon announcing the launch of its next mega-sale event. The massive money-saving sale will officially kick off on July 11 and last for 24 hours with money off a range of products including Amazon’s own-brand devices such as the Echo, Fire TV and more. In fact, Amazon is promising savings of over 50 percent on its gadgets with Kindles also getting that massive price cut.

If previous years are anything to by, it’s highly likely that there will also be discounts on products such as AirPods, Galaxy smartphones and laptops.

Although the main event won’t start for a few more weeks, Amazon has already launched a deals page with a bunch of early access offers.

These include four months of free music via Amazon Music and 60 percent off a selection of blockbuster movies including Scream VI, Minions: The Rise of Gru and Top Gun: Maverick.

Other early bird offers include three months of access to Kindle Unlimited for free which offers over a million books to read without paying a penny extra.

You can also get a £15 credit added to your Amazon account if you download the Amazon Photos app and upload your first photo to this storage service.

Expect more bargains to be revealed in the coming days and weeks but don’t forget that you need a Prime account to make the savings. Prime costs £8.99 per month although Amazon does offer a one-month free trial.

Along with getting access to the sale, Prime members get speedy delivery plus access to music and videos.
