JOE JOYCE has called out Tyson Fury for a Battle of Britain, promising to "give it" to the retired Gyspy King.
Fury recently drew the ire of the Olympian by dismissing his chances of ever beating him, commenting on Instagram: “The only way anybody could beat me is with a bat while I’m sleeping”.
Juggernaught Joyce – who will be back in action next month – quickly pounced on the opportunity to get his former sparring partner's attention and didn't mince his words.
He replied: "Wait, I thought you’re retired? If you want some I’ll give it to ya!”
Fury, 33, has yet to respond to the callout from Joyce – who recently made a beeline for fellow Brit Anthony Joshua.
The 6ft9 man mountain has been enjoying his retirement following his brutal sixth-round knockout of Dillian Whyte in April.
