WWE news: Randy Orton sickeningly attempts to break Tye Dillinger's finger weeks after screwdriver assault on Jeff Hardy

Wrestling fans were forced to watch through their fingers as The Viper unleashed his latest violent attack.

Just over a fortnight ago Orton delivered a vile assault with a screwdriver on Jeff Hardy at Hell in a Cell.

The 38-year-old stuck the tool through his opponent’s ear and began twisting it several times to leave viewers reaching for something to vomit in.

But his thirst for violence continued this morning on the latest episode of SmackDown.

Following his beatdown of Dillinger last week, Orton dished out more pain this week on the Perfect Ten.

Only this time he took it one step further as wrestling supporters looked on in horror.

After gaining the upper-hand outside of the ring, RKO dragged Dillinger to post.

He then stuck his unfortunate prey’s finger between the steel nut of the turnbuckle and began bending his digit back over the metal.

The vile Orton continued the attack several times before leaving Dillinger writhing in pain as we await an update on his condition from WWE – and Twitter exploded afterwards.

One user by the name of Senor Alanza wrote: "Randy Orton you f*****g sick b*****d."

The Glorious Omni said: "This is some sick s**t @RandyOrton. Pulling off some of the most sadistic s**t I've seen in years."

Another called Super Saiyan tweeted: "Randy Orton is a sick mf."

And even WWE's commentators were also left disturbed with Corey Graves saying it was "one of the most belligerent and disgusting acts I have ever seen".
