Wolves striker Raul Jimenez left in disbelief as diving header is barely cleared off the line against Huddersfield

Replays showed that Huddersfield Town defender Philip Billing got to the ball with just millimetres to spare to keep the score at 1-0 to the Terriers.

And fans were left in disbelief when replays showed just how close Jimenez was to scoring his fourth goal of the season.

Commentators later revealed the goal ball was just 18mm away from being a goal.

Levi Jordan wrote: "The words gnat and b******* come to mind re that Jimenez header."

Ramus Christensen added: "Holy moly. That Jimenez header was MILLIMETRES from crossing the line. Goal decision system showing its full value there."

Huddersfield had led at Molineaux from the sixth minute when Aaron Mooy stole in at the back-post to slot home and make it 1-0.

The visitors were the better side, having more possession and getting the better of the chances.

Mooy then added a second 15 minutes from time, curling in a low free-kick.

However, Wolves keeper Rui Patricio will be disappointed not to have kept the free-kick out, having got a hand on it – David Wagner's team picked up only their second win of the season.
