Wolves new-boy Cutrone’s agent admits whizkid would rather have stayed in Milan – The Sun

WOLVES’ new striker Patrick Cutrone NEVER wanted to leave AC Milan and was forced out of the club.

That’s according to the 21-year-old’s agent Donato Orgnoni, who insisted the forward was desperate to stay at the San Siro.

Italian international Cutrone moved to the Premier League side this week in a £16m deal to end his 12-year association with the Rossoneri.

And speaking Radio Marte about his client’s move, Orgnoni admitted: “A new adventure begins and I think he’ll get along well there.

“Milan made a choice that was different to the one we would’ve made.

“You can agree with it or not, but we had to accept it.”

Even though he preferred to remain at Milan, Cutrone still appeared excited by the “fantastic” prospect of playing in England.

After his unveiling, the star said: “I’m very pleased to be here because the club really wanted me.

“I’m very happy and want to give my all for the team.

“The club really wanted me and being able to play in the Premier League for Wolves is fantastic.

“I just can’t wait to get started.”

Curtone started just 12 games in the league for Milan last season and found the net three times.

And regular match action is something he is looking forward to a Molineux.

He added: “I’ve come here to play football. I’ll have to settle in initially and I’m looking forward to heading out on to the pitch to play.

“You never stop learning and I’m here to learn new things, but I’ll certainly give my all for the team.

“I can say to the fans that I’m very pleased to be here and I can’t wait to play and feel their support.”
