Who is Henrik Stenson’s wife Emma Lofgren, when did Masters golfer marry her and do they have any children? – The Sun

EMMA LOFGREN will be right behind her husband Henrik Stenson as he targets a historic Masters win this weekend.

The Swede famously won The Open in 2016 and will be looking for another major win this time around.

Who is Emma Lofgren?

Emma grew up in the north of Sweden, whereas Stenson was born and raised in Gothenburg.

She went to the University of South Carolina and studied Public Relations and Media.

And she met the Masters star there when they were both playing for the golf team.

Following her graduation, the Swede worked as a golf coach at the Barseback Golf and Country club.

But Emma was never able to become a professional golfer and she made the decision to give up on her dream.

She said: "Golf is such a big part of your life, but it's a job. Eventually you have to make life work."

How long have they been married?

They tied the knot in Dubai in 2006, so they've been married for 16 years.

And the loved-up couple have three children together – Lisa, Karl and Alice.

They previously lived in Dubai, but in 2012 the family decided to settle down in the US.

Stenson and Co now live in Lake Nona golf and country club in Orlando, Florida.

The family love to go skiing and they regularly travel back to Sweden.
