The Ladbrokes Trophy is a prestigious Grade 3 handicap held at Newbury racecourse, open to horses aged four and over.
It is run over a distance of three miles and two furlongs.
It was first run in 1957 and is one of the biggest races of the jumps season.

This year's Ladbrokes Trophy will be run on Saturday 1 December.

The 2017 Ladbrokes Trophy was won by Willie Mullins' Total Recall, who returned a well-backed 9-2 favourite.

History of the Ladbrokes Trophy
- Three horses have won the Ladbrokes Trophy twice: Mandarin (1957 and 1961), Arkle (1964 and 1965) and Denman (2007 and 2009).
- Nicky Henderson and Paul Nicholls have been the most successful trainers this century with three wins apiece in the big race.
- The race has been won by nine horses which have also won the Cheltenham Gold Cup, the most recent being Native River.
