What Luis Suarez said to wind up Neymar while kick-off was delayed for Brazil’s win over Uruguay

The Brazil star scored the only goal of the game from the spot as the Selecao edged out their bitter rivals in a friendly at the Emirates.

And Suarez has jokingly said the reason why kick-off was delayed is because his pal and former Barca team-mate Neymar needed extra time to fix up his barnet.

The PSG ace is known for his snazzy fashion sense and ever-changing hairstyles – and it was he who had the last laugh as he scored a controversial goal to edge out Suarez's side.

In what was supposed to be a friendly, English referee Craig Pawson dished out eight yellow cards.

La Celeste players were furious with the official for the penalty decision after Diego Laxalt was adjudged to have fouled Manchester City’s Danilo.

Speaking to Newsflare, Suarez said: "We laughed because kick off was 10 minutes delayed because Neymar was taking so long doing his hair."

And the result wasn't fair according to the former Liverpool talisman.

He said:"I think we didn't deserve to lose the game, we created more chances.

"Cavani and myself had few clear chances We were dangerous at the front and very well organised in the back.

"I think we need to be happy with the performance of the team."

Neymar also commented on the result and his friendship with Suarez.

The PSG winger said: "I have a very special friendship with Luis Suarez It's always good to play against your friends and even better when you beat them."

We played against a strong team defensively.

"We are very happy with the victory, it was a very good game against a very difficult team, so we are satisfied with the result

"It's always special to play aghainst top and quality players

"I'm very happy scoring the goal and to get the victory for us.

"We always try and play good football and at the end we got the best result."
