Wetherby races tips, racecard, declarations and preview for the Charlie Hall Chase card live on ITV this Saturday

The Sun Racing team have been studying the form and we've got all you need to know right here.

Race 1 – 12.20pm Enjoy The Jumps On Racing UK Handicap Chase

A competitive opener can go the way of THE PADDY PIE.

He made a good start to his chasing career when second at Hexham and he will love the quick ground conditions.

Steps And Stairs is the main danger ahead of Lord County.

Verdict – 1. The Paddy Pie 2. Steps And Stairs 3. Lord County

Race 2 – 12.55pm bet365 Novices' Hurdle

The progressive THISTLE DO NICELY won with any amount in hand at Wincanton last time.

This is a tougher race but he is open to plenty of progress and looks a smart type in the making.

Beach Break sets the standard but he must concede weight all round, while Lough Legend is sure to make an impact in this sphere.

Verdict – 1. Thistle Do Nicely 2. Beach Break 3. Lough Legend

Race 3 – 1.30pm Danny Megson 40th Birthday Celebration Handicap Chase

NIGHTFLY was beaten a whisker into second place on her return to action at Worcester last month.

She will strip fitter for that outing, while the forecast quick ground will be right up her street.

Tayzar was still in with a shout when making a bad mistake at Carlisle so he is feared, while the reliable Workbench should also be in the mix.

Verdict – 1. Nightfly 2. Tayzar 3. Workbench

Race 4 – 2.05pm OLBG.com Mares' Hurdle (Listed)

IRISH ROE was in cracking form throughout last season, winning four times over hurdles in total.

She was far from disgraced in the Scottish Champion Hurdle on her latest outing and can make a winning reappearance.

She gets the nod ahead of Lady Buttons, herself a classy performer, with Cubswin the best of the rest.

Verdict – 1. Irish Roe 2. Lady Buttons 3. Cubswin

Race 5 – 2.40pm bet365 Charlie Hall Chase (Grade 2)

A disappointing turn out for this contest, but a good opportunity for BLACK CORTON to get his season off to a flier.

He was a Grade 1 winner over fences last season and he is open to more progress this term for his in-form yard.

Virgilio arrives race-fit and shouldn't be underestimated, while the reliable Double Shuffle won't be far away.

Verdict – 1. Black Corton 2. Virgilio 3. Double Shuffle

Race 6 – 3.15pm bet365 Hurdle (Grade 2)

WHOLESTONE doesn't know how to run a bad race, and he looks the best option here.

He only managed one victory over obstacles last term, but he was often tackling top company and will have been readied for this.

Old Guard ran an encouraging race on his return and looks the chief threat ahead of Clyne.

Verdict – 1. Wholestone 2. Old Guard 3. Clyne

Race 7 – 3.50pm bet365 Handicap Hurdle

SECRET LEGACY got off the mark over hurdles in good style at Uttoxeter earlier this year.

He should have more to offer for his shrewd yard and is narrowly preferred to Harefield.

The five-year-old should prove better than his current mark in time, while Zig Zag could go well returned to hurdles.

Verdict – 1. Secret Legacy 2. Harefield 3. Zig Zag
