West Ham, Everton and Crystal Palace trying to sign Brazil striker Gabriel Barbosa

The 22-year-old is the Brazilian League's top scorer back on loan with first club Santos after struggling at Inter Milan.

And Goal-Brasil have named three Premier League clubs they say are monitoring Barbosa, who has two caps.

The website believes the former Benfica loanee wants a move to England, with Spain his second choice.

Santos still hope to turn Barbosa's temporary spell into a permanent return.

But the competitiveness and financial lure of the Prem might be decisive factors if Barbosa's English admirers step up their interest.

Commonly known as Gabigol, Barbosa has already netted 16 league goals for Santos this term, as well as scoring in the Copa Libertadores.

West Ham and Palace, placed 13th and 14th respectively in the Prem, have both struggled for strikepower this season.

Manuel Pellegrini's Hammers have hit just nine in ten games, two more than Roy Hodgson's Eagles.

Only bottom two sides Huddersfield (four) and Newcastle (six), plus Southampton (also six) have notched fewer goals, while Everton have nine.

Goal-Brasil even suggest Gabigol's Prem suitors are already working with agent Kia Joorabchian to secure a deal.
