West Ham 0 Wolves 1: Adama Traore's 93rd minute goal consigns Hammers to fourth straight defeat

Wolves were the better team and had the better chances but the game was drifting towards a goalless draw.

Helder Costa finds his path to goal stopped by a fine tackle from Fabian BalbuenaThat was until Adama Traore, a new signing from Middlesbrough, burst into the area in the 93rd minute to smash past Lukasz Fabianski.

West Ham were poor throughout and deserved nothing from the game, with Marko Arnautovic's shot which fired into Rui Patricio's face the closest they came.

Diogo Jota and Leo Bonatini also had great chances to further darken the couds over East London

West Ham had the first effort of the game through Felipe Anderson, forcing a smart save down to Rui Patricio’s right.

But once proceedings settled down, it was the Prem new boys who dominated – Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves outplaying Jack Wilshere and Carlos Sanchez in the first half.

Right wing-back Matt Doherty stung the gloves of Lukasz Fabianski, the lively Jota headed over from six-yards out, while Jimenez’s snap shot drifted harmlessly wide.

Andriy Yarmolenko came on for Robert Snodgrass after half time and the Hammers, and the game soon found a bit of life.

New defender Fabian Balbuena should have opened the scoring after50 minutes, but after being found unmarked by Anderson’s corner he could only nod it straight into the ground and wide.

Michail Antonio then had a looping header clawed spectacularly out by Patricio, before Jimenez could only head straight at Fabianski.

Sub Bonatini had a great chance to bag the three points for Wolves after great work down the left by Jimenez, but his shot was smothered by Fabianski who was quick off his line.
