Watch Ronda Rousey get stitches removed from her nearly severed hand as WWE comeback nears – The Sun

RONDA ROUSEY has released footage of her getting stitches removed from her almost severed finger.

The UFC legend and former WWE Raw Women’s Champion, 32, broke and almost snapped through a tendon in her middle finger while filming for TV drama 9-1-1 last month.

Rousey – who works for the LA Fire Department in the show – slammed a door against her hand… but remarkably did not break character and carried on filming.

She later shared a gruesome photo of her middle digit hanging off while she lay in a hospital bed waiting for surgery.

Now Rousey, who has not competed in WWE since WrestleMania in April, has shared a clip on her official YouTube channel of a doctor pulling out the stitches as she grimaces in pain.

“The Baddest Woman on the Planet” will continue to film 9-1-1 within the next month.

Meanwhile, reports are claiming Vince McMahon has big plans for “Rowdy” if and when she decides to get back in the ring.

But Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer says fans should not expect her to return for SmackDown’s FOX debut next month.

Rather than a special one-off appearance, McMahon is prepared to wait for her to come back for a full-on feud.

And that has led to speculation that WWE are planning a blockbuster one-on-one showdown with Becky Lynch at next year’s WrestleMania.

Rousey remains under contract with the company until 2021 but has declared her desire to start a family with husband Travis Browne.

She will still be around WWE TV though after she signed up for reality show Total Divas.

The new season premieres on E! on October 2 with Natalya, Naomi, Nia Jax, Carmella and Sonya Deville all set to star alongside Rousey.
