CRISTIANO RONALDO escaped Carrington this afternoon after a day of crunch talks through the back gate.
The wantaway 37-year-old took opted to leave via the road less travelled.
After arriving at Manchester United's HQ this morning, Ronaldo spent the day at Carrington before heading home just before 5pm.
He pulled down the vanity mirror of his luxury £168,000 Bentley to cover his face as he left the site.
Ronaldo arrived for discussions earlier today accompanied by his super-agent Jorge Mendes.
He arrived at 10.45am, and on that occasion used the main entrance to the facility.

Mendes did not appear to be in the same car as Ronaldo as the five-time Ballon d'Or winner rolled out of the back gate at Carrington this afternoon.
Ronaldo initially informed United of his desire to leave shortly before he was scheduled to return for pre-season training.
The superstar striker was then absent from Erik ten Hag's touring party to Thailand and Australia due to family reasons.
But he did attend the post-tour debrief meeting today, according to the Daily Mail.

Ronaldo also stopped to chat briefly with Sir Alex Ferguson and Bryan Robson.
The club legends had already been scheduled to be at Carrington for a meeting with chief executive Richard Arnold and former ceo David Gill.
Although some fans are convinced they were part of the plea for Ronaldo to stay.
He has been out of the UK and landed back in Manchester late on Monday evening on his private jet for crunch talks on his United future.
It's not yet clear on the outcome of Ronaldo's return to Carrington.
But he is desperate to continue playing in the Champions League – something the Red Devils cannot offer after a sixth-place finish last season.
Atletico Madrid are currently thought to be leading the race to sign Ronaldo – despite his connections with bitter rivals Real.
